THE OUTFIT TEXTS: AHSOKA

In 2008, we were introduced to a brand new character to enter the Star Wars universe. Her name was Ahsoka Tano, the new padawan to Anakin Skywalker. Throughout the series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", she became a powerhouse character & another female character to have young girls look up to. Created by Dave Filoni & voiced by Ashley Eckstein, Ahsoka has become such an incredible character & loads of people adore her! In the story "AHSOKA", we learn about Ahsoka's whereabouts after the events of Order 66 & prior to us seeing her in Star Wars: Rebels. The story expresses more of what Ahsoka believes in. Using her knowledge from the Jedi Temple & her own instincts, she tries her best to hide from the newly created Empire & their stormtroopers. The book does give some foreshadowing into events that happen in the final season of The Clone Wars, so as a precaution, do watch the series before diving into the story. Ahsoka is personally one of my favorite female Star Wars characters after Rey & Padme. EK Johnston does it again with her storytelling by giving us a look into Ahsoka's mind and what she is thinking about while she is in hiding. Of course to find an outfit to go with this book was challenging. But I had to pick this shirt that was a collab between Ahsoka herself & artist Danny Haas. Ashley is Ahsoka. The two of them are one person and they will forever be together as one. The power of Ahsoka is definitely felt within this drawing on the shirt so I figured it was a great pairing for it with the book!
